I certainly think he has dabbled...like many of us have. The only time I think it might have gotten a bit out of control was the mid-90s. His phyisical apperance and his behavior were a major indication. Things just got too erratic and I remember seeing him on the American Music Awards when they sang We Are The World and thinking the dude was high. He was acting weird FOR HIM.
I think everything changed when he met Larry. Say what you want about Graham but that is when I started seeing a change for the better after the "dark years". | |

Hell yeah. You can't come up with crazy shit like that unless you buzzin' on something. I think coke was their drug of choice. Vanity(Denise Matthews) has stated many times she left because of money and drugs. And coke was the drug of choice. Morris was hooked also. | |

Hey,
I don't know how many of you have tried extacy, but listen to the lyrics of Lovesexy, it describes the feeling of being on extacy. Being a club junkie back in the early 90's, I had my share of that stuff, and the song Lovesexy is like an extacy trip. The lyrics say it all, that even to this day, when I listen to that song it actually gives me extacy flashbacks. And I was told that the song was originally going to say EXTACY in the part where it says Lovesexy, but he went all spiritual and changed it to Lovesexy. Plus I know he did do X, as recently as 96. Extacy, now thats a hell of a drug, LOL!!!! Meltedman | |

I was always gullible and believing when Prince would make his many statements on anti-drug anti-drink topics. But after hearing from so many reliable and not so reliable sources I just believe it was a part of his image and was a part of the control part of his personality to make these statements public. I do believe he drank and did drugs, I don't know to what degree but I know that many people say many things that aren't true and I think that prince's anti-drug stance was a pure lie. | |

I was one of the ones that believed he never touched it, but now I believe he has dabbled a little with all of it, but he didn't let it control and take over his life. Madonna said she has tried ectasy before. Everybody that has experimented with drugs doesn't turn out like Bobby Brown, Keith Richards or Leif Garrett. (If you care to know who he is just ask). | |
