Prince Or Babyface? Who's the better songwriter? Prince is a good songwriter but you must admit babyface is the best of our time since stevie wonder.....I mean name 1 song Prince has that can stand up to the number 1 single of all time

It's subjective. To me, Babyface writes boring stuff that gets played on the radio. Now, there's nothing wrong with that - it makes the man money - but on a creative level it doesn't put him anywhere near what I consider Prince's songwriting talent to be. | |

Very difficult question 4 me 2 answer. Prince has written so many songs. I have all of Babyface's CDs and he has also written lots of great songs, including hits 4 Boyz II Men, Michael Jackson, Mariah Carey, Usher, Madonna, Mary J Blige, TLC, Brandy, Toni Braxton, Whitney Houston, Bobby Brown, Az Yet, Jon B, Tevin Campbell and so many others.
So my answer would b both, as both Prince & Babyface r tremendous songwriters!. | |

Theres no subtle symbolism, no juxtaposition of gender, nothing unique about them. And as far as the guitar playing skills... man, what are you, stoned? Maybe if Prince broke both his hands, got drunk, took five hits of X, and was sitting on a cactus and then tried to play... if he did all that, yeah, then Babyface would be better.
