JIMI HENDRIX Tribute album out on Tuesday, May 4 I hadn't seen this mentioned - The Power of Soul tribute album to Jimi is out on May 4. Prince is on it doing a version of 'Red House' he calls, 'Purple House'. There is a clip at the CDNOW site.

...but yeah, he was good back in the day. How come everyone here is talking about Stevie Ray Vaughn as if he was still alive? Of course he's not kicking anything anymore. He died in a plane crash like 14 years ago :p The track on this compilation is obviously not newly recorded. | |
