Underneath The Cream

I can't stop playing this song! It's just damn beautiful! I heard it awhile back, when it came out at the NPGMC the first time, I didn't have a burner at the time, so I only listened to it on my computer. Now that I have a burner, I carry a copy of The Chocolate Invasion everywhere I go. You talk about a song that will never be 'officially' released to the public, and at the same time a guaranteed 'Hit' (IMO). Listening to it is like the first time I heard Pink Cashmere (one of my all time faves), I just melt.

I feel the same way about 'The Dance' as I'm a 'Smooth groove R&B' guy at heart. I just had to tell someone.

I agree with u 100%!
A truly great songthat sounds alot like Pink cashmere.

problem is Pink Cashmere was also released and wasn't much of a hit sad

They arent simple enough for radio appeal. Singles sadly need tohave quick cathy phrases and the verses cannot contain too much of a story, which prince loves to tell

Musicology is a success because of all the promotion, but on its own people who are used to being spoonfed their music wouldnt dig it

Idiots :p

You're right, and it's sad. Everything has to have a poppy catch phrase. THe best part of music is the story-telling. The problem is, people aren't creative enough even to do that nowadays. Thank God for the CD player!
