Because of the dubious nature of sales/distribution (billboard including albums given at concerts) then it's probably likely.

Did soundscan include the downlaoded albums too/?

It will probably struggle to reach 500.000 in sales.
2 million is an illusion...'specially in the current sales climate.

People suddenly wake up and realize Chingy sucks, Usher is weak, and Bad Boy records has been garbage for years.

I have a feeling it just might. My reasoning being:

1) Soundscan are counting the CDs from the concerts (as paid for in tix price)
2) Huge amount of promotion and buzz

Back to point 1 - by the end of the tour it looks likely Prince will have played around 100 gigs in arena's with average attendance/capacity of say 15,000. Well that makes 1.5 million for a start!
