Newsflash for the "BibleTeacher": Religion, my dear, has caused far more "human suffering and lives" than anything ever said here at the HEAVY Org!

Prince's prior struggle between his spirituality and sexuality is found in his most interesting art. One does not have to be religious to be offended by profanity, just as one does not have to be a secular humanist to be put off by revisionist editing of previously released art. It's like painting clothes on Ruben's "The Three Graces." Give us a break, BibleTeacher. Please, save your scripture for Sunday school.evil

'Here at the Org???' Hell, stale Rice Crispies has caused more pain and suffering than anything ever said here at the Org. rolleyes

INTERESTING perspective!

Like I've already said elsewhere..
I dig & respect Larry as a bass player & singer.
Larry BRINGS THE FUNK in his music.
"The Jam" is & has always been
A FUNK MASTERPIECE.

The rest of it-
I ignore as much as I can..
I'll see you tonight..
in ALL MY DREAMS..

How long has Larry been a JW?

Larry G and his wife, Tina were baptized as Jehovah's Witnesses in 1975. He produced one of his biggest albums in 1979, "One in a Million", which sold over a million copies.

Besides do you really think Jehovah Witnesses approve of lyrics like "wet circles with the toy as you bring yourself to joy?"
Come on! They don't say that type of shit in AWAKE!

i am JW and like that lyric just fine...

no you won't see it in the awake... does that mean it doesn't belong in a song?

I almost feel bad saying it but, for me, Larry was definitely the low point to the Rave Un2 video. I'm very glad he wasn't a special guest at the ONA show I attended. He can break it down on bass hardcore but.. sheesh, give P the mike back.
