The cd's a success...do you change the concert setlist? Not by whole lot...but adding Call My Name and a few other Musicology songs sprinkled in couldn't hurt. Hell, if you're doing an acoustic set, might as well throw in Reflection too..it's only 3 minutes long. As the tour progresses, more people will have the cd before coming to the concert and might wanna hear him play some new stuff...maybe like a 75-25 split. you look better on your facebook page than you do in person

Man, hearing A Million Days live with an awesome extended guitar solo would just be too good The world is a comedy for those who think and a tragedy for those who feel.

I was wondering this too.
I have always been disappointed at how few new songs he plays nowadays, at least since Emancipation (I thought those songs would have sounded better with a live band than they did on the album). He's played PR at every show I've seen, and I wish he WOULD retire it fer crissakes! I don't expect he will add much from Musicology, unless one song becomes a minor hit, then he might add that. This tour is clearly about the greatest hits (though the public misconception is that this is an exception) With the exception of the 0(+> tour, every show I've seen has been a greatest hits tour (I, of course, didn't see the Sign 'o' the Times tour). And even the 0(+> tour was all greatest hits in the second set. Check this song out at:

It would be nice to include more Musicology material in the setlist.
Musicology Illusion, Coma... Life 'O' The Party Call My Name On The Couch ...have all been played. So quit a bit has been featured in the setlist already.

For what he's packaged this tour as, I hope he doesn't add much more from Musicology (unless, as has been said he actually has a hit)...
He's targeted the casual fan with this tour and if they end up hearing the bulk of Musicology and just a sprinkling of 'hits' they will more than likely leave disappointed. And, since I've convinced about 25 people to go, I don't wanna have to hear about "the shitty Prince concert" after As Savvy as P has been this year marketing-wise, I'd be surprised if he'd do this... that being said, I won't complain if he drops Reflection into the accoustic set...

I wouldn't mind hearing ALL the Musicology songs played live, plus a career-spanning selection of songs (preferably full-length versions; no doubt each of us has our own favorites we'd like to hear). And I also agree with another post that suggested retiring PR...I'd much rather hear "Gold" as a closer...what a wonderful note to finish a show on. JMHO. He's put out SO much great stuff over the last 25 years, that even if he only played pre-Musicology songs, it'd be hard to choose the setlist! "I would say that Prince's top thirty percent is great. Of that thirty percent, I'll bet the public has heard twenty percent of it." - Susan Rogers, "Hunting for Prince's Vault", BBC, 2015
