Have we slipped into a time warp, or something? I am awe-struck. I thought there would be modest success with the album and first video, and as I said in an earlier posting, I expected to see Musicology in the middle of the top 100, but A #3 ALBUM on billboard? As well, a #1 video on VH1, a #2 album, and a #1 concert standing?!?!
Eye was dreaming when I wrote this, so sue me if it goes astray... Props to the purple people, 4 putting this album and video where it is! Eric | |

I'm cool with #3 or #12. Prince as an artist is a elderstatesman now. If he stays in the public eye over the next few years and if he wants 2 chart high he will. It's about exposure and the right label and no negative controversy. I just want Prince 2 continue making music on his own terms. And ultimately reclaim his master tapes(ownership). Young kids 2day have 2 get used 2 Prince all over again. It's obvious that he has a lot left and that he's happy right now. More than the new cd, it's the tour that will keep the next phase of his career moving 4ward. He is still the baddest performer on the planet. I am even more interested in seeing what happens with the download store. It's a very exciting time 2 b a Prince fan. U,ME,WE!....2FUNKY! | |
