Do we crave just 1 more... Do we crave just 1 more Purple Rain sounding album? i was just listening to Electric Intercourse and just loved the sound of it..i understand it was done around the time he did the other songs from the Purple Rain album...the songs on Purple Rain have such a great sound and feeling to them but he really never revisted that sound because he is always evolving and changing and it was on to a new sound on Around The World In A Day and then Parade...a lot of artists would have milked that sound for their whole career because it worked and sounded so good....sometimes i think because Purple Rain was such a short album of only 9 songs that he could have put out at least 1 more album with that sound and then move on...sometimes i find myself craving for just 1 more Purple Rain..then again maybe its just me Check it out ...Shiny Toy Guns R gonna blowup VERY soon and bring melody back to music..you heard it here 1st! http://www.myspacecomment...theone.mp3

I'd love to get the unreleased music from this period, in clear official release quality.
But I don't particularly care for when an artist back-tracks on what they've done already.

How can you NOT want another Purple Rain. It was in my humble opinion the best album from the eighties PERIOD. I still crank it when I'm driving down the street just so everyone else can hear it. How many other albums from the mid eighties would you be brave enough to play loud so everyone knows what your listening to. People hear it and give me a thumbs up or just bob their heads....I just wouldn't feel cool bumping Thriller on my system....

I see what you mean, there were some songs from post-PR that could have made a great "Purple Rain pt.2" so to speak - How's this: 1. Mia Bocca 2. All Day, All Night 3. Electric Intercourse 4. The Dance Electric 5. Roadhouse Garden 6. Our Destiny 7. We Can Fuck [Funk] 8. Possessed 9. She's Always In My Hair

How many other albums from the 80s would I play oh-so loud?? Sign Of The Times, 1999, MJ's Thriller, The Black Album, easily, just to name a few off the top of my head.

Would love another Purple Rain type album and wouldn't mind a bit if he included the 1983 song, "Electric Intercourse" perhaps using it as a backdrop of sorts. I love that sound. I bet many of the teens would like it too.
