Since theres no evidence of BET repeating..its :

Tape Bet tonite Wed 28th at 9pm
Tape VH1 at 1:30pm Thurs afternoon
Tape MTV Fri nite at midnite (Sat 12am) or Sat nite 10pm
Tape MTV2 Fri afternoon at 2pm or Sun nite at 11pm..

I checked my TV schedule today and it's at 7PM Central time, which means it will be at 8PM ET. Just want to make sure you don't miss it if you tuned it at the wrong time!! I can't wait!! I'll be most likely taping MTV and watch VH-1!!

I only get BET in Canada. No trace of "Words and Music" (as it's supposed to be called on BET) or "The Art of Musicology".

If you know, please tell me.

No idea if you just got my messages. Anyway... on my digital cable system BET has it listed as "Music Special".

On Time Warner Digital Cable in the Raleigh area of NC, it still doesn't list anything on BET except College Hill @ 9. I'm assuming it's still @ 9, though, as when I watched a few minutes of BET they said don't miss prince @ 9 ET. SO.

On the Tivo up here, I'm recording MTV2. Downstairs Tivo is recording BET and VH1C. Tomorrow at 1:30P ET on VH1, and Friday on MTV. Should be able to hit all 5. WOO!

Now if only there were a way to get the shows off of these Time Warner DVRs!

just watched it. It looked like Mtv and Vh1 had the exact same thing, interview and all. Vh1 was slightly behind so I switched it over after watching it on Mtv and caught the end of the Vh1 special and it was identical interview with Sway.

I watched the MTV version at 9pm & it was TERRIFIC! They caught most of the highlights, but the interview doesn't do Prince any justice, he needs more, they should've gave him an hour to a two hour special & gone over more of his classic gems hardly anyone knows about, instead of mentioning mostly the ones some people already know. It should've been more in depth & okay, it was more about the concert, but more interviewing please!!! I think people needed more insight about where he's been & coming from & more about his outlook on Music & the industry, especially if reaching out to an audience who are new to his music, and just for the promotion of this album that has such a strong message about his MUSIC that does show how far he's come...but the few words Prince spoke still said a lot, but I guess we always want more, but he did really well & I really did enjoy the show and am very thankful for that.

Thank goodness, they finally got it working and I caught the 9 PM (PT) showing on VH1. What a terrific live performance by Prince!! The acoustic version of Cream is awesome...has he replaced LRC with that, at the concerts? The interview was so short and unsubstantive, it was a waste of time confused Wonder if the other interviews were any better?

Nobody is saying anything because they just dont know. We have to be patient mad ....since the RRHOF never got shown, people are a bit down hearted. It seems like VH1 and MTV in Europe dont get any of the good stuff.

the BET interview was pretty good because it started with Prince clowning the guy for not introducing himself. At the end, he asked questions that black fans wanted to know like will he continue to perform Adore because it is such a big hit with the black community. He also tried to corner Prince on doing songs like Erotic City and Head. Prince simply said tat I was younger now and there are more 13 year olds in shows now.

I will tape VH1 to see any difference. I think MTV and VH1 have the same interview segments.

the sway interview sucked... who is this clown? he's a moron... that's why i hate MTV... they have no journalism cred... just a bunch of dumb kids... the BET interview was much better (although the music portion of the show was better on MTV cuz the sets were uninterrupted). you could tell stephen hill was smart and a fan... in his questions he dropped the title of "joy in repitition" and related it to prince playing his older songs yet again... he also asked some tough Qs like why won't he play erotic city and head anymore... prince handled it all pretty well and you could tell he was much more comfortable with stephen hill... good job BET!!!

...I watched the BET version & VH1's today at 1:30 pm and they were the same. On both versions, Prince was interviewed at the end, but no questions about 'Adore', 'Head' or 'Erotic City'...is there more than 1 version for each channel, I got confused with all the times & channels, because I keep catching the same one.

I caught the program on VH1 last night. It was excellent. I had no idea that it was going to be simulcast on 5 channels though. eek

But anyways, I enjoyed the acoustic part of his performance the most. That guitar looked sooooo cool, dude.

But yeah, I do have a bone to pick with that so-called VJ, Sway. The mofo has no journalistic talent. Kurt Loder would''ve been a better choice as host.

My only beef with the performance is that it appears the audio was sweetened considerably, both vocals and guitar playing too, the latter is more evident during the solo portion. So it's not exactly live... but this type of thing is done fairly regularly, and there might have been some technical problems with the recording that needed to be fixed.

Was the BET interview parts any different than MTV/VH1? The people that talked about Prince were they different. (ex. Alicia Keys, Sheryl Crow, Ashanti). Do you know if they will show it again? I recorded the VH1 one and I liked it.

Yep,sho' wuz. The night all of'em wuz on I decided 2 watch the BET ver. cuz I knew BET will NEVA re-show it again like MTV/H1 would 4 theirs. On BET the interviewer wuz a different black guy. I have a bit of the BET 1 in my WMP(not the whole thing). & I have the whole MTV/VH1 2.
