Warner Bros missed a good chance...

Warner Bros missed a good chance to capitolize on Prince's recent success by not rereleasing The Gold Experience...with The Very Best Of Prince,& News doing so well alongside the excellent sales of Musicology i think The Gold Experience would have flown off the shelfs once word got out how good it is..maybe someday it will be re-released
Check it out ...Shiny Toy Guns R gonna blowup VERY soon and bring melody back to music..you heard it here 1st! http://www.myspacecomment...theone.mp3

how are sales of news doing? its not above 10k for this week i dont think? actually its only half way through so its possible. but im convinced gold experience is owned by prince, hence is being the only album officially out of print. otherwise why not release it anytime? prince was asked at a celebration why TGE is OOP and he said its the only one "they" dont own. WB was just a distributer and it was an NPG album. personally i think prince should re-release it, though he would probably do it through his musicology store (i just wish they did lossless, thats all!) although i suppose cd is a possibility. at this moment in time though i dont think he should ,because he doesnt want to detract from musicology. saying that he doesnt seem that scared if he wants to release live instrumentals on blue note. the thing with that is, i didnt think xpectation was live? ive not got it so i dont know.

but people have to be ready to take that trip. you almost have to know the history behind the black album to fully appreciate it. you can't just release it and say ok listen to it. most of it would be misunderstood.

I don't know what the Warners contract entails, but I want EVERY single re-released on a gold-plated 5" CD with artwork as close to the original sleeve as possible. The discs would also include additional tracks that weren't widely available on one disc like:

'Pop Life'
01. Pop Life (Album Version);
02. Hello (Edit);
03. Pop Life (Fresh Dance Mix);
04. Hello (Fresh Dance Mix);
05. Pop Life (Extended Version).

'Glam Slam'
01. Glam Slam (Album Version);
02. Escape (Free Yo' Mind From This Rat Race) (Edit);
03. Glam Slam (Single Edit);
04. Escape (Free Yo' Mind From This Rat Race) (Full Length Version);
05. Glam Slam (Remix).

Etcetera...

Anyway - now would be a good time. Madonna's CD singles always seem to be continually in production.

Hmm...isnt N.E.W.S. the album that freeked everyone out? confuse I can probably guess that as soon as people bought the album, they would be trying to sell it back to the wrekka stow within a week.

im going to show a lack of knowledge here and say "what album is TBA"?! i dont think symbol album is OOP though, you can buy it in most highstreet music stores overhere in the uk. i guess things like exodus and goldnigga are OOP but the main prince releases, i thought it was only TGE!
