his favouraite song is billiejean, he especially loves the video. the bit where michael is dancing along the pavement is cool and then a picture of wendy and lisa pops up on the screen, he loves that bit.

It's got to be "Gett Off." He has supported this song in a number of ways:

First, he created a video for the song.

Next, he performed the song for a world-wide audience at the MTV Music Awards with the fantastic ass-less pants and cast of hundreds onstage.

He also released the "Gett-Off" maxi-single with multiple mixes including my all-time favorite, "Violet, The Organgrinder!"

Fianlly, he loves to perform this song live: see Rave 2000 performance and the recent Hit N' Run tour, including the release of the NPGMC video download from RubySkye last year.

It's got to be "Gett Off!"

I think his favorite song is The Grand Progression.
I remember an interview back in '95/'96 where he was asked if he could write the perfect song, what would it be? (or something like that). He said he was striving to find The Grand Progression. I wonder if he'll ever release it.

That and the "Ladder" are my favorites. Especially the version from the LA soundcheck in the recent video that NPGMC released. I saw/heard that bit back in '89 from a different documentary called "The Prince of Paisley Park. I wish they would release it in mp3.
I think he is very fond of "A Case Of You" as he's been singing as far back as '82 from what I remember, although he never seems to sing the first few verses.

His favourite song of recent times must be "The Ride". Why else would he insist on playing such an average song at every given opportunity? Good jamming song, but we all know there are better. He seems to like it though. Who am I to argue!

I'm sure with the release of The Rainbow Children, he will be singing a lot of songs from this album and his favorites will come from this album, especially since it speaks about his newfound beliefs. "Just like the sun, the rainbow children, Rise!"
