What do you think Prince favorite song is? Have we even heard it yet? In concert, what song seems to be his most enjoyable to play?

He used 2 really dig "Cloudbusting" by Kate Bush.

He said in some interviews that he likes Björk's stuff and used 2 dig The Cocteau Twins.

But his fav song would probably be a James Brown tune since I read an interview in 1998 where he said that he used 2 b a huge fan of James's work back in the day and that he would always buy his records straight when they came out. Said that he wanted 2 [and prob did] own every note James every played.

The man probably likes all kinds of music, from Mahler 2 Sly & The Family Stone 2 Björk 2 Common 2 Kate Bush and Joni Mitchell.

A man that plays that many styles of music with such ease simply can't have just 1 favorit artist. He's bound 2 dig little bits from all over the musical spectrum.

I wonder if it's Joni's 'A Case Of U', because he seems to perform it a lot, and we've just had a studio recording.

Joni Mitchell's music used to blast out to the crowd before Prince's live concerts would start... The Hissing Of Summer Lawns was once his favorite album - said he loved it all the way thru.

I would guess that Prince's favorite is A Case Of You, or one other of Ms. Mitchell's songs...

without a doubt it will be "a case of you" on of the best songs of Joni Mitchell...this song he has performed over a long time of his life...if it isn't his fav. song: I can assure u it is mine....

I'd would guess Joni Mitchell as well. In addition to that, I'd say anything by Larry Graham and Graham Central Station. I know his favourite GCS album is 'Release Yourself'. During the Gold Experience tour he performed 'I Believe in U' from the 'Release yourself' album. Prince also likes to play 'The Jam' and 'It's Alright'. Both of these tracks come from the GCS album 'Ain't No Bout A Doubt it'.

How about '7'? He sang that song quite a few times from what I've come across. But who knows!!! I think they're all his favorites, that's why he keeps on writing them...

Prince was asked if there was any song he wished he had written.

I think his answer was Sly's "Everyday People".

I read a book that said when he was in high school he used to play "Midnight at the Oasis" and it could be heard thru the halls of his school. I would love to hear him play that live. I also heard that "Just My Imagination" has been a long time fave of his. I love his version.

Eye think his favorite song is "Red Light Special" by TLC, eye know he really likes them. Think about it they did a song call Red Light Special and he did a song called Blue Light. Oh well I'm just being silly, much luv 2 all.

I read somewhere that he loves Tower Of Power. Also, Betcha By Golly Wow must be up there....
