A Co-Worker Was Making Some Comments About "Musicology"

I had to laugh, because he seemed sooo disappointed that Prince doesn't curse on this CD. In fact he told me that it was "too clean". giggle He also felt that Prince "lacked energy" on this CD, and that he felt like someone else had made the CD, not Prince. giggle I told him to keep listening (give it a chance) and that he might start to like it. biggrin

When Prince says the word "fork" in ICP&C, it kind of sounds like he's saying the F word.
Not good enough? biggrin

Have your co-worker fired.
If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

You know it's odd because the very first time I heard the album I remarked to the person with me that it seemed to lack a little energy and was rather laid back for Prince. I don't really feel that way now but there must be something in the mix to give that impression if I'm not the only one to think so.

cool

That's what my girlfriend thought also

To a certain extent I would agree. The album is good but too clean, too obviously made for a return to fame. It is a pity because most of his successful albums in the past actually crossed boundaries and were not a priori made for mass audience

lol The first few times I heard Prince sing the line "rich beyond compare" in the song "Illusion, Coma, Pimp & Circumstance", I thought he was singing "bitch beyond compare". lol
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

Apparently so did the idiot who wrote that God-awful review in Time magazine. He intimated that P is a hypocrite cuz he said "bitch" and supposed to be a Jehovah's Witness. I thought about writing a letter to the editor correcting the gaffe.

To me, I think his album is fine. I really like it. He doesn't have 2 curse to prove he's Prince. He's still Prince.
