My favorite 12" is the "Get Off" house mix.

When I was a DJ, the crowd used to go nuts when I played this.

Thieves In The Temple definately. music

Although I really dig Let's Go Crazy 4 that cool mid-section, & the U Got The Look 12" too - cuz of it's pimp-assed, ultra funky intro!

No, it was 'Video Soul' which was a popular music video show during the early to mid-1980s. It used to air on what is now BET.

No, the couple arguing are supposed to be an old jewish couple: "Isn't that Prince on Television Sol? Isn't he the strangest looking thing you've ever seen, or what?" Later, she says "Sol! Don't you touch that TV! Sol! Do you value your life? Sit down Sol!"

I can understand where you got "Video Soul", but she repeats the name "Sol" over and over again. Prince does the voice of the old man, and Wendy does the woman (remember, she's Jewish. The characters were based on some of her relatives)

Yeah, that's right. I misspoke. There was a show called "television soul" but there was another one called "video soul." Sorry 'bout that. But it definitely wasn't Letterman, which was my point.

"Theives in the temple", the breakdown during the normal part of the song (as seen in Grafitti bridge), is way funky! Not often u here bongo's in any of prince's music! "Partyman" remixes are funny and great to listen to once in a while! The "Batdance" remixes (vicky-vale and batmix) are also stella! "Sexy MF, despite being very simular to the original, is still very funky (the Mavis Staples samples are funny!)

Ain't nobody mentioned the "Cream" maxi-single mixes, do they count? Anyway if there on 12" or not, they are remixes and in fact "Do your dance" is almost o new song in it's own right! I love that song, good vocals by the steeles, a great party song! Possibally one of the happiest party songs ever! just the whole Prince camp having a good time!

All the 1979-1989 ones are classic, cream of the crop.

I think my fav's would be:

- Mountains
- Paisley Park
- Escape
- Scarlet Pussy
- Feel U Up

Also don't forget the related artists - all the V6, A6, Sheila E, Family, Jill Jones, Madhouse - all the 12" mixes are killer! cool

Yeah, there is another bit later where the woman (Wendy) says
"I can't stand David Letterman, he looks like a banker!"
