"Theives in the temple", the breakdown during the normal part of the song (as seen in Grafitti bridge), is way funky! Not often u here bongo's in any of prince's music! "Partyman" remixes are funny and great to listen to once in a while! The "Batdance" remixes (vicky-vale and batmix) are also stella! "Sexy MF, despite being very simular to the original, is still very funky (the Mavis Staples samples are funny!)
Ain't nobody mentioned the "Cream" maxi-single mixes, do they count? Anyway if there on 12" or not, they are remixes and in fact "Do your dance" is almost o new song in it's own right! I love that song, good vocals by the steeles, a great party song! Possibally one of the happiest party songs ever! just the whole Prince camp having a good time! | |
