174,000 actual record store sales... this figure does NOT include free concert cds, downloads or anything else, just units sold over the counter.

...i think we can safety say that batman would have sold more in its first week of release, i would be very surprized if it didnt sell at least 250,000 in its first week, remember sales were generally higher in the eighties.
