Record store Musicology displays Went in Sam Goody this weekend (in Ames, IA), and to my surprise right as I walked in there was a large Musicology display gleaming right back at me. Maybe it's not such a surprise, given the $$$ Sony is putting behind the promotion, but it's cool to see anyway. If I recall correctly, it was about 5 feet tall, with the Prince pic from the retail Musicology packaging prominently taking up the top half, and the space for CDs at the bottom, on both sides.
Anyone else seeing something like this in record stores? | |

I still should have nagged that TRC display a while back at sam goody.. it was a life size picture of prince with some crazy rainbow ball and tons of racks for cd space.. a GREAT disply.. best i've ever seen | |

Yeah, I saw that TRC display too. It was funny though because I swear it was only in the store for one weekend. The next weekend and ever after I never saw it again. I agree that it was a great display. It had the picture of him in the sweater from the edge of the TRC packaging, right? | |

They have Musicology pix of Prince in the local Borders bookstores in Chicago!! "Just like the sun, the Rainbow Children rise."
