Actually, back in the day, I was afraid to turn my friends on to Prince, lest they suspect that I was gay. God forbid (back in the day, down south). In that respect, Prince taught me a lot about being myself, even though he probably wasn't being himself at the time. Hmmm...

In college, a few of my friends and I were fortunate enough to come across some ecstasy on the very same weekend that we were headed to the beach together. When I was at school yeah that happened, but you know what 13 year old school boys are like, most of them don't want to do anything that sets them apart from everyone else in case they are called a faggot.

If not, they like him for being so diverse, so unpredictable (used to be!), and so colourfull in every way, - masculine, feminin.

If some heterosexuals think you MUST be gay cause you like Prince, they're dead wrong.
