Musicology enters Australian singles chart

According to Aria.com.au:

27. Amazing - George Michael
28. All I Need Is You - Guy Sebastian
29. Musicology - Prince
30. Turn Me On - Kevin Lyttle
31. Stand Up Next To Me - Popstars Finalists

Not bad at all, considering Australia's had virtually zero publicity. I wonder how Guy Sebastian feels, beating one of his musical heroes in the charts?

That's a matter of opinion.

I thought it sucked, actually.

Guy is actually dropping out of the charts after 9 weeks in, last week he was at 22.

I mentioned in a post last week about Musicology's single sales (see: http://www.prince.org/msg...sg_1553362 ) and like I said last week, D12 (released the same day as Musicology) has shot to debut at number 2 on the chart.

Im really hoping that the reaction to Musicology will be bigger overseas and that wave will have an effect over here.

TMBGITW took 3 months to eventually gather up and take the number 1 spot in Australia back in '94, so hopfully Musicology will do something similar
