Well, there isn't any Prince mention in the "Current Issue" at http://www.rollingstone.c...efault.asp . So, as someone else pointed out in another thread, Prince might get the cover in the NEXT issue out in a couple of weeks.

I saw the Rolling Stone Magazine today, Usher is on the cover and Prince's name is featured on the top, i thought i'd buy it on my way home.

i sure hope he is on the cover. he once said that he would only do that magazine if they gave him a cover. they, in reply, told him he wasn't musically, artistically or culturally significant enough to put on the cover at the time.

and then the spice girls were on the cover

His name has been prominently featured on the last TWO issues of Rolling Stone, the current one with Usher has an article on the tour, CD, and marketing, and the last issue with QT and Uma had the 4-star review of the CD and the 4-star review of the tour. (I dont know what u need for 5 stars! Read the live review...)

I dont write letters to magazines, but I almost did, I mean this is the same magazine that puts the Olsen Twins and Clay Aiken on the cover!!! Now, one of the most revered icons in Rock n Roll history is having a HUGE comeback that is vital and alive and he cant get on the damn cover???

I think u need a feature article or interview fot that spot, so if he is indeed interviewd, best believe he'll be on the cover...or I WILL write a letter! (bet they're scared now!)

As for that quote, I remember that, and he then I think turned around and did an interview for ARWIAD but refused to do any pix. (He was mad at us poor Americans and getting much more love overseas. Not the first American person of color to do that...)
