prince number 3 in uk....who would have believed it!!! there has been nowhere near the media hype in the uk that has been happening in the usa so this is an amazing turnaround commercially for prince...his highest position for a new album since come reached number 1 10 years ago.

... ...it,s good to see some real talent back in the charts again. what on earth are you talking about.? there are fucking fly poster EVERYWHERE. full page colur ads in all the magazines. the album is TV advertised - terrestrial plus all the fucking reviews and features. as i sad in another post, this album has seen the biggest push (thus far) since the Batman album - which had a multi-million dollar box office smash movie promoting it. | |

still not many in the uk has seen the ellen show the rock n roll induction and the jay leno show the tavis smiley show and the grammys(even though it was showed on e4)..so id say pretty good going with very little promotion. | |

Musicology is No. 3 http://www.bbc.co.uk/radi...bums.shtml I think that's marvelous, pay a few bills and give a few folk loads of enjoyment. What could be better? ------------------------------------------------

NUMBER 3? Should be Number 1 ... what a shame..... U'd think with the amount of Musicology posteras around town and on the TV and on the radio it would have got to NUMBER 1... oh well ------------------------------

Wish we could have webcasts of the gigs in the UK & Europe. Well eveywhere, obviously. On IMAX screens, Multiplexes, online. Now wouldn't that help to get it to No. 1 for a few weeks? Are you listening to me Prince & SONY? ------------------------------------------------
