Isn't that Guns N' Roses album about 5 weeks into release? I can't believe he didn't beat that. Interestingly Axl, Slash, and Izzy sued to prevent it from being released although Sony had a contract (Prince are you listening) and the court threw it out in a hurry. | |

that's a very good chart position. i'd guess it sold around 40,000 to get that high..
it's easily the biggest advertised prince album i since Batman - and that had a multi million dollar movie of the year to promote it.... it'll be interesting to see where it is in 5 weeks. | |
