The unrelased album-"The Rebels."

For those of you who haven't seen the "Studio Nights" bootleg you may not know what I'm refering to. I think The Rebels album was killer. I loved the songs "You" "Thrill or Kill You" "Naderia" "If I Love U 2nite". I would love to see this work released. Your thoughts.

Oh, the "k-funk interview" was hysterical.

I loved it to... it was clearly a premature Dirty Mind album. Although not so rough and more kitschy.

The amount of stuff Prince has avaliable on bootleg that is worthy of official release is mind blowing. Take the Dreams 3c.d set, there's 2 or 3 albums worth on that alone. Even the Rave un2 the year 2000 bootleg was an excelent release. He should revise his strategy and get his ass back in 2 the market. No one outside the org. knows who he is anymore. I speak with a lot of younger people, ( 16,17,18) and ask them if they know any Prince songs...most common answer?...
The Most Beautiful Girl In The World. Then I put dreams on and they all say,"Wow, that's good, who is it?"
Then I put TRC on, and the interest disapears, get your finger out P!

Yeeeaaahhh booooyyyeee!

Hey, this about this that young people don't about prince, I got alot of friends who listens to prince and they're around the same age as I (18).

The first album I heard was prince...and I bought everyone since. All old Prince fans need to get step out of the 80's....I mean Controversy, Dirty Minde and SOTT are great, and unreleased things like Come outside and Play, Extra Loveable and Eternity shit the whole DF album are stunning but you can't expect Prince to do the same music he did 20 years ago.

Just wanted to say that the younger audience dig his newer things better...and you need to accept that.

Totally accept that u like what u like, but if u listen 2 his new stuff then listen 2 the old, u'll find lots of the old coming through. He must think it's okay or he wouldn't keep on playing it!!!

"This shit is funky, but I just wish u'd play like u used 2, old scraggy haired...."

The Rebels recordings from 1979 are really interesting. The only bad song in the bunch is "Disco Away",but that's only because I like Disco music and Dez seems to be making fun of it in that song...lol...
