i often wonder ,why prince never got his guitar to play live ,
what he did in studio with his guitar on when doves cry.
to me that song peformed without prince playing guitar is like purple rain without prince playing.
it's about time for him to do justice to that amazing song.not this tour one verse shit.

I was expecting much less from the tour version. I was impressed. I like the way he flipped it. I'd love to hear a straight forward, whole version, but I doubt that will happen. But the tour version is certainly not awful.
