Ok, you knew this had to be next . What is your fave ending to a Prince song, For me (Yikes, there are a lot of good ones) but the guitar finale to 'Lets Go Crazy' , 'Endorphine Machine' , and when he just says 'Cool' at the end of 'Loose' and the song just stops.

for me, it's Let's Go Crazy and the sweet double kick-drum ending to She's Always In My Hair (12").

When they add the strings at the end of "Adore"

The end of Adore where Prince seems to be talking to angels.
But I have to say that I really like the last five minutes of COME, with the wonderful horns. Just great.

the violins and drums at the end of Glam Slam. gets me everytime. do i talk about that song too much???

The ending of 'Shy' comes to mind, the big finale with the simple guitar strum at the end.

I really like the last 30 seconds of The Sacrifice of Victor.

Actually, I have a couple of favs:

1. If I Was Your Girlfriend
2. Positivity
3. Sun, Moon, & Stars (the strings at the end with the bassline is so surreal)
4. I Don't Wanna Leave You (fades just when it seems it's gettin' EXTRA funky, LOL!)

"Adore"-the multi-tracked background vocals as he sings "I'll give U my heart..." Sounds like the angels who weep as he and his girl make love. Beautiful...

"When 2 R In Love"- the last 10 seconds, right when the horns kick in. That part is so cool, but ends 2 quick.

"Strange Relationship"-at the end when he says "what's this strange relationship?" and the drum machine does this funky A-- pattern that closes out the song.

"What do U want me 2 do"-the instrumental breakdown right b4 the Spanish (?) speaking woman is so retro "Sign..." era Prince. 2 funky

At the moment i really like the end of Call My Name..the 'aaah aaah aaah' bit. i think it's really nice.

I agree with someone earlier who said Glam Slam...stupid lyrics but I love the orchestral finish.

Adore has a great ending, as many have said.

And Sign O the Times, the rat-a-tat drum plus the slamming guitar is awesome.

And, of course, Jughead...I was just glad that one was over!

can anyone ever beat the guitar crescendo of lets go crazy.... i think not!

Honestly I think that IIWYG is one of the few songs that Has Not To Be Edited in any way.

I think that's what he's saying at the end of International Lover, when his voice fades out. Another crazy ending is on Lady Cab Driver when he's sexing Vanity (I think). That was wild!

Wasn't it "Rock Hard in a Funky Place" where, at the end of the song Prince said, "What kind of fuck ending is that?"

If I had to choose whether Prince has better beginnings or endings...I would have to choose endings...he is the best...

i cant pic a fav...but one that immeadiately comes to mind...is.....the end of "the line"
