i decided to pop in come!

i forgot how much i liked this album

anyone else with me???

and before you answer ask yourself when was the last time you gave it a spin
if its been a while listen to it first and see if your thoughts on it have changed at all

Come, Space, Race & Dark are all great songs.

I love it!

Gave my co-worker TBA to listen to yesterday. He didn't like it. Said that it wasn't funky. What the fuck???

Then he retorts: "I LOVE 'Come', now that's a funky album!" I'm like

the extended version of race is cool and there are some tight songs on "come". but as an album, it is flawed by a lack of standout tracks. despite what some people think, i think that "musicology" even has more standout tracks than "come".

Come is still probably my fave Prince album of the 90's.

And i'll say it again... title track

I like most of "Come" -- but the sound of Prince slurping through oral sex at the end of the title track is not anything I like hearing. Maybe it's just a guy thing?

I think Come's got a great flow, from the first song to the end...very cohesive and dark, I LOVE it.

And I love the nastified horned-up longer version of Come, but I'm with Doozer...that slurping is disgusting.

Ehh I think Come as an album pretty much sucks. It has "throw away" written all over it.

The title track is overblown, and aside from Papa, Loose!, Letitgo, and Dark, it's pretty worthless imo.

I mean Orgasm ain't even a song.

Race, Solo, and Pheromone are alright. I like the remix of Dark way more.

To me the rest sounds like precursors to the New Power Soul era.

Race is one of his best songs from the 90s. Loose, Dark, and Papa kick ass too. The original test pressing of this album is much better though, which Interactive and Endorphinmachine on there too.

I wish days of wild had been on one of those albums....
