Prince performing While My Guitar... on this tour? I was really hoping he would add this tune to his setlist when I saw him in Cincinnati. Alas he didn't. Has he performed it in any other Musicology shows?

I was dreaming that he would do this, but unfortunately he hasn't. I am a huge Beatles fan, and I'll never see George Harrison perform this. Unless I see Eric Clapton on a tour that he happens to perform this (don't know if he does or not), I'll never see 'the originals' play it.
And if I saw Prince play this like he did at the RNRHOF, I would weep like his guitar. Get rid of Soul Man and play this. I love Soul Man, but this is special...

I was so singularly, jaw-droppingly BLOWN AWAY by Prince's contribution to the performance of "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" that --and call me crazy -- I believe it should remain a "one time only" thing. I wouldn't want it to lose its passion...and I like the way Prince worked with the other guys (vs. his own arrangement of it with his own band).
I feel like that was damn close to a religious experience and for him to perform it regularly would feel exploitative. Having said that, if he should do this in Chicago, somebody bring in a purple casket...cuz I'm THROUGH! Keith/Kacey
