I KNOW IT'S EARLY DAYS FOR MUSICOLOGY, BUT LET'S LOOK INTO THE CRYSTAL BALL...

Where do you see Prince in the next year or two? As big as in his prime, or will this album and tour fade back to the hardcore fanbase only.....or will his fanbase blossom and will Prince become more popular than ever?

.

Im thinking that if his little plan works with giving away the CD at the gigs, that those who didnt purchase it this time, will remember how cool that was, how good the gig was, etc etc and buy the next album.

Personally, I cant WAIT 2 see how the next album pans out. It's an exciting time right now.

I had earlier imagined that this album would be a mix of re-recorded classics and new material in order to slowly get back into the mainstream and hit the scene big time next year... but he seems to have skipped that step and in a matter of a few months got to that point.. I reckon he's planning to keep building his current successes at least until the next album. I'm not basing that on anything besides a hunch.
Life it ain't real funky unless you got that orgPop.

seems like a good chance that that's how he's playing it. i'm sure he has plans for the future already mapped out, which he will probably crap then revive, and over again until he unveils the next new version of Prince Music.
