The LAST MJ vs. Prince thread If they both werent skinny black dudes from the 80's they wouldnt even be slightly compared. It doesnt matter, Mj does somthing COMPLETELY diffrent than Prince. I guarantee that everyone comparing the 2 are from their late 20's to early 40's. Let this be the last post forever about their comparison.
SO SAYETH THE SPIDER. Disclaimer: All sentences resembling insults alive or otherwise, are purely coincedental.

No one should be comparing an entertainer with a musician. And I think we all know which is which. Check out The Mountains and the Sea, a Prince podcast by yours truly and my wife. More info at https://www.facebook.com/TMATSPodcast/

I think it is fitting that the public perception (i.e. uninformed opinion that is subject to non-specific information) has flip-flopped on the subject. I remember being slightly ashamed and secretive of my prince allegiance as a child (listening to controversy in my bedroom hoping my mom couldn't hear) but never questioning why no one was concerned with mj's weirdness. The last decade has seen Prince being crowned for the musician that he is and MJ as the stunted psycho that he is.
I think the end for MJ came during the TV profile last year, where the interviewer (who wanted to give MJ a chance to explain himself) asked him: "Michael, why did you think it was okay to sleep with young/strange kids in your bed?" MJ replied: "I gave them milk and cookies." He didn't answer the question, exposing once and for all the fact that he hasn't been on this planet for quite some time. Prince has always been out there, but in a way that promotes healthy lifestyles. Just check out how cool everyone is at his concerts, if you don't believe me. Everyone is having a good time, they are comfortable with their bodies, they are down with having a good time, and they are music lovers. This should be the last MJ vs. Prince thread, because there is nothing more to say. Prince is interesting on 1,000 different levels. MJ is a sad specimen, interesting only to clinical psychology. I'll see everyone at the third show at Xcel...I'll be the tall skinny white kid dancing like he forgot white people aren't supposed to know how to move their hips.
