Does anybody know how Princes financial situation is?

I just remember that some years ago I read in the media that Prince is nearly broke because he doesn´t handle his money well. He also had to fire a lot of his staff. Has that changed with the launch of NPGMC and the success of recent tours? Does anybody know?
