if u could only choose 1 prince/ song as your favourite what would it b and why?

4 me it would b really hard 2 choose just 1, but at a push i would choose joy in repetition. i love the lyrics and the way the song builds up 2wards the end and prince lets loose both vocally and on guitar

I'm tempted to pick "When Doves Cry" as my favorite Prince song,but I figure that most fans would choose that one....lol....so I'm gonna pick a more obscure song."Lady Cab Driver" is my favorite.Never get tired of hearing that song!

His best song is the Ballad of Dorothy Parker. It's not even close.

Others near the top would be Housequake and Anna Stesia. After that, there's too many to mention.

Wow, that's hard, but I think I'd have to say When Doves Cry! It was the song that got me into Prince, so it has some sentimental value, (not to mention it is an amazing song). But there's so many. I could have also said Empty Room, Dolphin, The Continental, etc

I was thinking about that, when I made my org profile, this is hard.

I mean, for me it's impossible to choose one song, because it's impossible to get prince music in just one song. It's just that variaty of songs, from let's say from adore to poor goo, or from LRC to ONA, or from for you to loose.

I cant decide, it's 2 hard.....just 1 omg how cruel....but i guess for me it has to be TheCross, this song specially when it was sung live at lovesexy still sends goosebumps thru me, it's ghostly delivery with full blown soul crunching meaning hits deep into me each & every time i hear it played.....but then again if i was ur girlfriend to me has a delightful urgency of missed opportunites, great songs, hate to chose, dont ask me 2 do it again lol

oooh, this is a tough one 4 me, since i have so many fave songs....about the only one that stands out 4 me would be "kiss". i've dug that song since i wuz 10 years old....lol

OH, that's such a hard question to answer! There are so many favorites-Adore, When Doves Cry, Kiss,Lady Cab Driver, Let's Pretend We're Married, Pop Life... HOWEVER, I can't get enough of the Question of U! Such a seductive song! Joy in Repetition is almost as good!

Just too many to choose from.....But Purple Rain is my favorite.....After losing my grandmother, right as Purple Rain came out in the theaters, I went to see the movie. I was seriously thinking of killing myself, but when I saw the movie, and then heard Purple Rain I had second thoughts. And then I got into Prince and his music, so in a sense Purple Rain could have saved my Life!!!!!
