HA!!!

I swear, this thread is the funniest shit in years.

Luv, I'll PayPal you $100 if Michael ever starts actually PLAYING the guitar on record and live...and I don't just mean in the Giving Tree.

I don´t think so. Invincible has got at least 6 redeeming, actually quite fantastic tracks. NPS has got only 2 and it´s the worst Prince record ever, a complete embarrasment

eek WOW this is a dumb topic.

One Album cost $30 Million to record/produce with an army of writers & producers.

The Other probably cost $3,000 for the electric bill at Paisley Park & everything else came from the actual Artist's own soul!

NOT trying to "recapture" for the 50th time "Off the wall INC." lol

I think the public answered this question when ONLY 2 Million albums were sold in the usa & 3 million everywhere else. So 5 Million albums sold with $30 Million to make it, $30 Million to promote it & $10 for the only music video. The Public spoke so loud MJ wigged out and claimed "Racism" eek lol mad

I think the public figured out MJ a long time ago! EVERYONE has seen the man hasn't sang live anywhere on TV for 20 years. Thriller won 8 Grammys! But since then MJ has been shut out! The Music Industry has known this "little secret" of his true skills in music, but kept quiet because they were all making boat loads of money off him from stupid foreigners just wanting a taste of our hasbeen pop culture. MJ was thrown out of american pop culture for the most part with BAD, then he just ran to europe and cashed his "legit artist" chips in & has been doing a "Vegas Act" for about 15 years now.

1)It sold 8 millions to date
2)30th ann was live
3)MJ has written best pop, rock, soul etc songs ever written
4)Get a life and stop sucking Princes ass and open your eyes to see other great talents

1. You don't know the figure. Nobody truly does.
2. You know my opinion on this, the bit with his brothers was. The rest wasn't.
3. Some of, and don't forget, in your opinion.
4. Take your own advice but apply that to Michael. And don't insult Prince fans on their own board. Thanks.

Well exceptional is a strong word and just because he started learning back in the day means absolutly nothing in terms of how good a guitarist he is. For example Bruce Springsteen is a guitarist, but I don't think anyone would say he is a great one. Look at how long he has been playing. Or try Bob Dillon, you see what I mean. Time means nothing unless he has been doing an assload of practicing.

You won't see Michael Jackson on a stage playing any instrument until he believes he is the best at that instrument. He just wouldn't do it. Maybe if he loosens up a bit with age, he will do it.

Justin Timberlake on the other hand would do it just to try and make us believe he is a "talented musician".

Ye but surely if he is an exceptional guitarist he shouldn't be afraid to show off his skills. As for only playing if he becomes the best, that just aint going to happen, take steve vai one of the best guitarists around super fast but with "super exceptional" technical and theoretical guitar abilitys, that man started playing at around 10 took lessons off another "super exceptional" guitarist joe satriani and practiced for no less than 10 hours everyday,he also took other lessons on music theory and worked with other teachers to help him develop his skills in all departments. Then he also worked with Frank Zappa for years which I would imagine would have taught him alot about guitar playing. I would say that Kurt Cobain And Noel Gallagher are good guitarists they made a career outta being good guitarist there's no shame in that, but your claiming that Jackson is at the level of Slash Vai Satiani Petrucci and other guitarists that dedicate there time to playing guitar and yet he hasnt show anyone.I doubt he is as good as Noel Gallagher .

i dont think hes saying hes as good as those guitarists u mentioned anyway i dont think the ability mj has on a guitar has anything to do with whether he plays it on stage or not michaels a entertainer and having a guitar hanging round his neck would hamper his dancing and i just cant picture michael with a guitar on stage it just wouldnt look natural unlike prince where it does also i dont even think michael devotes much time to mastering any instrument he just learns enough to pick a few chords here and there and leaves the real playing for people who have basically devoted there whole lives to the instrument people like slash and david williams

Yes I would like to see him play piano in concert too. But I respect he has a vision for his live show so he does whatever he feels moved to do. I think it would be a cool thing though.
