This is as close to VINTAGE Prince as you're going to get. Vocally, I think it's his most diverse collection. This album should definitely make Prince a serious contender for Album of the Year at the Grammys in 2005. Lyrically, Prince has always been really interesting and he doesn't disappoint. He's always been innovative. A lot of people stick with the formula. But Prince, like Madonna, always finds a way of reinventing himself. This collection is a true testament to his talent, because very few artists would have been able to take the hiatus that he has and still record a collection that doesn't feel dated.

#6 CINNAMON GIRL 10/10 (reminds me of "Little Red Corvette" musically)***

#8 THE MARRYING KIND 10/10 (a little rock, a little metal)
#9 IF EYE WAS...THE MAN IN UR LIFE 10/10 (pure funk)***

#11 DEAR MR. MAN 10/10 (the most controversial, but the most relevant)
