That is all i have been reading the album sucks it is not good it does not sound like his old stuff hey listen if it sounded like his old stuff it would be boring the only thing i will agree on is that there should have been more guitar solos but other than that it is a good cd the songs are cool u just have to listen with an open mind and lets take a look at the bigger picture just think if prince had not made a new cd or went on tour at least he is doing something for his fans and all people want to do is complain if you dont like it then dont listen and dont go to the shows but the bottom line is if prince was not putting anything out there it would be pretty dead around here and in the music world for that matter....

Did anybody else notice that that was all one big sentence? Wow! Wm Faulkner's less-talented brother.

Do you mean to tell me you really don't like "The Marrying Kind" or "The Man in ur life" You don't like "ICPC", "Call my Name" or "On the Couch" or "A Million Days"? Do you really think that they are boring? "Life Of the Party" I can understand that not being for everyone but I love it becasue it is funny.

What I said was that I can explain why so many don't like it.. actually I love some of the songs.. in fact ICPC is by far the best new song i've heard all year. Its at the top of my playlist and On The Couch was a fantastic addition to the album.

What do you think of this? Maybe Prince was catering to the Age 5-10 group with the song Life O the Party "goodie for you". It doesn't work for many.. but maybe it would work for kids like "Superfreak" and "Funkytown" worked in the 70s.

Yeah I think Life O the Party is really a track that is for that young demo like you said. It is a funky quirky little track. For that reason alone I can see why the old school don't like it. I love the album myself and try to remain open to why some don't. A few people actually put it into words and concepts. I also appreciate you pointing out what they don't like. I guess to me it just seem weird. Thanks for the response though.
Peace
