Prince and Warners--Time to kiss and make up?

Since Prince extended (sort of) an olive branch to Warner Bros. at the RRHOF...the time is perfect for a hugs and kisses make up session that would benefit both parties involved.

Prince gets:
maybe/probably his masters back,
the re-release of many of his albums
maybe a nice "contract" where he can still release his more "experimental" music through NPGMC and still get the big Payola push for tours, more "radio" friendly releases and media appearances.

Warners gets:
the return of the eccentric fledgling genius they "discovered" over 25 years ago
arguably one of the hottest artists on the market right now (think Santana a few years ago)
takes bad publicity away from their current battles with that other icon, Madonna
tons of good PR

sounds like it could be a win/win situation for both parties if they hammer out some sticking points. Both mad a nice little chunk of change off of the release of The very Best of Prince without even putting a "new/unreleased" song on it. Once the new regime settles in at Warners, don't think they haven't noticed the hoopla around over Princeand the fact that they could probably woo him back with a "very" lucrative ownership/control contract. Since controlled output was supposed to be at the root of the problem, projects like N.E.W.S. could still be available through the club.
It's like when you and your lover break up when you're young and realize 10 years later that you lost the best thing you had going on. You don't have to you're sorry, but you can admit you made some mistakes.
you look better on your facebook page than you do in person hmph!

i suspect the comment he made at the RRHOF was due to the fact that theres a second Prince explosion due with P. Rain and perhaps Warners let him have a lot of input into the project. Also wasn't it at the time of him shopping around for a label?, therefore a little buttering up on his part?. Who knows but either way i though it was nice gesture on his part.

Perhaps Prince should also demand a radar tracking device, warning him to duck if the pigs fly too low?
