Somebody suggested keeping their "free" copy in rotation & packing up the official release w/ a nice ribbon - I did that too, no flap is gonna make me nuts!

They fuck me off too. But what is the ultimate fucking-me-off thing about the album's packaging is the way it is entirely impossible to secure the booklet.
What is with that? Great music, lovely booklet...let down by such carelessness.

What is with that? Great music, lovely booklet...let down by such carelessness. LOVE your avatar! Im gonna hold out awhile, as hopefully Sony will see sense in a month or 2 to release a standard jewel case version (Look at Bowies last CD - released 3 different versions within 2 or 3 months!) Since the boom in DVD's with their special features, and the fact that they can release a 'standard' version then a 'Special Edition' a little later, the music industry seem 2 be picking up on that now and running with it 2 bring in those extra pennies they are (supposedly) losing. Make do with yer freebie 4 now I say and hold out 4 a standard release. Which brings me on 2 my final point: someone on the org posted that there were 2 different versions due 2 be released? One a standard, the other a 'limited edition' - would this be the packaging u think? I work in a record store, and so far have only seen the one version - and there's certainly nothing else listed on our system (trust me - I check!) *'Curiouser & curiouser!' exclaimed Alice...

just how is Musicology packaged anyway? another confused fold-out like N.E.W.S, a TRC cardboard case, a RAVE un2 coloured plastic thing, or a good-ol'-fashioned jewel case?
