I don't realy agree with you here. I think they are both different songs. But I like the laid back sound of it!

this song has REALLY grown on me...I totally disliked it when I heard it on the club way back when..but in the context of the whole album, it works and I've completely fallen for it!

I think WDUWM2D (lol) is an alternative exploration of the musical texture of her older sister from '87.

A fake clone to me but a real laid back jam! Ironically Dorothy was demo and this one is not. prince produced a song from sister demo!

at first when i heard this track, i thought it was garbage. but now listening to it on the whole cd, it actually sounds alot better. it fits the picture i guess. i love his music best when he uses that drum sound.
