That just means your topic is getting lots of responses.

But, would you say that Chaos and Disorder, NPS, Crystal Ball and The Vault are "real" albums. "Real" meaning Prince would have released them in the course of an unaffected career, as opposed to "real" meaning that are not real/true/deserve criticism/aren't of merit. Personally I think Muciscology may be added to this list. in time. You may disagree, but that makes my opinion less valid how? I can justify what I write. I can argue against those who chose to disagree with me, but it does not make what I ssay less valid. Proper lyrics - well, quite simply, those that don't sound forced. Lyrics like those on Free, Graffiti Bridge, I Rock Therefore I AM and Push It Up seem insincere to me. It's that sort of lyric I am referring to. By flamed I meant the flaming thing by the subject on the Music and More page. Ah flamed in that respect. I see. Although since I never said anything about your opinions being invalid I still think you might be a tad sensitive. But that's just my opinion.

Who says? Man, why are folks acting like it's the fourth quarter and Prince is down by one with 3 seconds left on the clock? Dude is gonna be around for a long time. There's a lot more to come. .

if "Freaks On This Side" is the kind of horrendous shit you enjoy, then you don't deserve to like Musicology "Awards are like hemorrhoids. Sooner or later, every asshole gets one."

Eating my sea bass with a side order of words. This album's growing on me. Standouts thus far:
Reflection If I Was... on the Couch (He wasn't feeling D'angelo, y'all. He was feelin' Al Green!!!) the end of The Marrying Kind (maybe the rest will grow) What Do U Want Me 2 Do? (very cool mood on that) Cinnamon Girl remains an undecided... . [This message was edited Tue Apr 20 18:47:15 2004 by ThreadBare]

I bought Musicology today, and it sounds increbibly nonvital. At least Newpowersoul was fun. I like Reflection and Musicology, but to me it sound like a Prince cover band, lacking in passion , going through the motions. Hope it grows on me, but this is no Rainbow Children. Rave has much superior highs, but Rave's lows are worse than the mediocrity of most of Musicology.

some people are clearly insane. When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading.

Each track deserves at least 10 listens. C'mon y'all should know that by now when it comes to Prince
Musicology is the best POP album since Purple Rain, IMHO. Did not start out that way, but after a month of listening this is the real stuff. Time will tell.

Life O The Party makes me cringe and does remind of the worst songs on NPS - push it up and I like funky music etc. The music may pass if the song had some proper lyrics. Hmm, I just wanna know how you can still be 30 when your profile says that you were born 24 Dec 1971 Add this to the fact that you don't like Musicology and... You're a witch! You're a witch! Burn the witch! This post not for the wimp contingent. All whiny wusses avert your eyes.
