BTW, I loaned N.E.W.S. to a guy I know at work. He's an amateur guitarist/bassist, and mostly listens to classic rock, 60's and 70's, the big name arena and stadium acts. He can't stand Prince, or to be accurate, Prince's music; he freely acknowledges him as a gifted musician. The funny part is, this guy really liked NEWS (except for "East")...never thought I'd ever hear him say he liked a Prince album, LOL! "I would say that Prince's top thirty percent is great. Of that thirty percent, I'll bet the public has heard twenty percent of it." - Susan Rogers, "Hunting for Prince's Vault", BBC, 2015 | |
