No CD in Musicology (UK Retail)

Folks,

Just a quick word of warning... I bought my retail copy of Musicology at Virgin Megastore (Brighton, England) yesterday and when I opened it at home I found there was No CD!!

Has anyone else had this problem? I'm going back there after work today to sort it out.

So, best bet is to open it at the shop just in case this is a recurring problem.

You are being a little bit harsh, but maybe I should have pinted out that it was shrink wrapped (two layers), not a display copy with the CD inserted by the clerk.

Yeah - don't take it back - the one without the CD is the collectible version.

If you can get hold of the one without the CD and the packaging, it's worth a fortune.

Fantastic! Yeah, as long as you haven't actually broken the cellophane seal or anything it is highly collectible! You'd have to get it x-rayed to check it was really NOT in there! Perhaps it's like Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, there's seven cd-free versions of Musicology out there but instead you get a free visit to Paisley Park!

Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!
woot!

Good news (because I *know* you all care). I took the packaging back to Virgin and they exchanged it, no questions asked.

Best fire up the CD player and hear this puppy at last!
