ICP&C sounds like Sex? (I mean the 1989 track!) Has anyone noticed the similarities between 'Illusion, Coma...' and the little heard track 'Sex' from 1989 (I think its on a Partyman EP or something?) "Everybody want what they don't got..."

Yeah, I started a thread about this on March 30th...no one responded to my
find...bastids! I agree, the same beat...2 really good tracks. There, now you have at least one post on your thread. Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

yeah, its got the minimalistic funk thing,
but to me ICPC sounds more like the bastard child of Mad Sex and Poom Poom. Welcome to the New World Odor and

I though of "Sex" the first time I heard ICP & C I must have missed your thread Revolution or I would have co-signed you back then.

To me it sounds more like a spin-off, or at least written in the same vein as "My Medallion". "You've got to believe in something... why not believe in me?"

Exactly.
ANd "A Million MIles" is "Dolphin", and "The Marrying Kind" is "The Good Life" from NPG's "Exodus" CD. It's still all good in my opinion, he has taken each of them and made them better, except for "A Million Miles", which is just as good but different and more accessible lyrically in thae "pop" sense than "Dolphin", it should be the MTV and Pop Radio single next, while "Call My Name" goes to BET and R&B stations.
