It's Prince! Musicology heads for Top 5 Prince's new Sony album, Musicology is on course to give the artist an impressive mainstream return this Sunday, with early retail figures suggesting it will debut inside the Top 5 on the chart. I'm not a member so can't get the rest of the article. But Musicweek is THE industry magazine in the UK. Go for it Prince! |

I've been really surprised at the publicity - it's been excellent. I see posters all over the place in London, adverts in newspapers, prominent displays of the CDs in record stores. I'm so chuffed - I was concerned that the promotion would be a wet fish like the Rave promotion. But it's been damn good. 
If it does get into the top 5, that's a damn good result as far as I'm concerned. | |

it's currently number one on the amazon.co.uk sales list too....
