I say he's sticking to his guns and not play! That's kinda shady of CNBC. Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. the interview was going average, same ol'-same ol'...then it got funny as hell. Mari wanted Prince to play a song and he wouldn't. Oly if she sang. He played some of delerious on acoustic guitar, some blues riff and Purple Rain. He tried to get her to sing for like 3-4 min's. She was too embarrased and was giggling and laughing. It was HILARIOUS. | |

It probably seemed awkward bcuz rarely(esp. back in the day) wheneva P wuz interviewed he'd wanna answer ne questions(esp. personal-like 1s) It wuz humoring,indeed 4 me. & I like the ear bling won't be long 2 sum rappa will probably copy that..rememba da platinum/gold teeth?(Trick Daddy-4 example). & that wuz mad koo 4 him 2 mention Alicia Keys 1st! 4 in representin' REAL music that's out here 2day. Great interview...Prince looked great, nice outfit and gave a very classy interview. Maria Bortiromo was fawning over him like a school girl. She looked like she was going to cream herself when he told her to sing. Classic Prince, has the ladies swooning! Maria looked like she wanted to jump into his lap. | |

her ass was that damn embarrassed 2 sing one of his songs? And Prince, oh my gosh, P was 2 funny 4 me. He meant he won't gonna sing just cuz she said so. and I mean was it just me or was he a bit intimidating? I don't mean in a bad way, I mean as if I put myself in her place, i mean he was stern and strong, and sexy all in one. I think i would have started crying during the interview..... wonder why her ass asked him to play the one song u knew he wasn't gonna bust out with...purple rain??? i mean c'mon now. I keep thinking if it were me, yeah i would have been a bit bashful at first when he ask me to sing, but then i would have busted out with some.... "i called you yesterday, but u wouldn't answer your phone, the main drag was knowing that u probably weren't alone.." or "until the end of time, be there 4 u, u on my heart and mind, i truly adddoorrreeee uuuuu!!!!!"
