It's good that it's sold out though (not for you, obviously), it shows that agressive marketing works, people will buy your music if you make sure they know it's available. That's the real 'ology' of music. Lemmy, Bowie, Prince, Leonard. RIP. |

Yeah, this is weird. I just went into Virgin in Brixton and the guy in front of me was buying Musicology too. Looks like it might do well. Also, the CDs in Woolworths have a "Heat's Album of the Week" sticker on the front. | |

Maybes that Woolworths in just PONY and couldinny stock much anways an dwoz thinking it ain't flying over da counters.
They is always out of stock of something. I marched ma skinny Arse over to Oxford Street and paid a good tourist price of £13.99, which is New Power dumb when I is already orderd it on playcom for £8.99 but couldinny wait NO MORE. I hopes I like the music when I put it in ma stero tonight VERY LOUD. | |

I pre-ordered it from Play.com. Its the first time that an item I've ordered has not arrived on day of release. On enquiring, the item is out of stock but connot specify if thats due to their first quota already dispatched.
This is the first time for many years I've seen a Prince album advertised so strongly weeks before its release. It was also album of the week in the metro paper, the evening standard, and yesterdays sunday mirror with 4 stars! If this is the result of some proper pre-release promtion, imagine what heights albums like The gold experience, Emancipation and The rainbow children could have acheived! Prince has never lost it! Poor marketing and media support has clouded and confused the buying publics understanding of the transition in style and sound of a still very creative artist. The issue has always been the same. He is ahead of the game, and everyone is still having a hard time keeping up! Life's a Parade! LoveLife, LoveSexy! | |
