Just to let you know I have looped the beat of Life O' The Party and whenever I play that beat, I hear The Ball.

The beat to 'the Ball' is the same structure as the beat to 'Eye Know'. I've recreated that beat and used it as the core of something I did back in '95, so I know the loop very well.

That's cuz Eye No is a reworking of the Ball.

I hear "The Ball" in "Life O' The Party" very strongly as well. So when some individuals say the song reminds of hiphop to them I really don't understand where they are coming from.
