Now that Prince is a Jehovahs Witness and I've heard that Musicology is not as sexually charged as some of his previous work do you think that Prince has lost a bit of edge to his music because of that??

when i want sex i'll find a man. when i want good music i'll find prince. most of sexiest songs are not obviously sexual or vulgar. edgy, to me, doesn't translate to sexual. musically speaking, trc was pretty damn edgy.

He's getting older, he wants to change. He doesn't want to be rolling around, humping the floor anymore. He seems a bit more relaxed than he used to be so probably doesn't need to put on the mysterious act as much.

i don't think he's lost his sexual energy. when i saw him at club black sure he got down on the floor during the beautiful ones, but he didn't hump the mic or anything. No. Prince is absolutely correct in what he's doing. Not being overtly sexual makes him unique these days. What passes for "sexy" onstage these days isn't really sexy, it's just vulgar and stupid. Such as Janet and Justin's attempt to be sexy at the Superbowl.

I think he has a bit because I Really cannot Fathom him Never singing Erotic City or Face Down or Sexy MF . I Really Love those older songs the Way he Wrote them. They are Classics.. this board is full of Apollonia look-alikes. Some are even JW. And I'll tell you this much - I think being JW has ADDED to his mystique. Just goes to show that you never know what the man will do.

It's definitely had a bad impact on his music because he has to be extra clean now. I really don't appreciate him changing old lyrics around like that, and I really don't like being preached to about his new found cult.
