okay, so i posted that review of my first prince concert, at US Bank Arena on 4/13 in Cincinati, Ohio, What i forgot to mention is my mom. Before the Prince concert..My mom didn't really get any of Prince's music except for his old music, cause she ol' school..ya'll know..like I wanna be your lover and Soft and wet..But anyway...My mom was callin' him Princess and a sissy, all kind of things. She said he looked like a girl..and all this. I made her a bet, ten dollars (i should have put more up to bet), that she would be a complete Prince fan after the Musicology Tour...

I WON THE BET!!

During the concert, My mom was havin' a great time, almost as good as me. Afterwards..for the first time in history my mom refered to him as Prince. I almost went crazy. The other day, I over heard my mom talkin to my aunt about the concert and once again she refered to Prince as Prince. She was talkin' to my aunt sayin' how good Prince looked.. how good he could sing and dance, and how he still had it..
Since when did Prince loose it??
Prince is gettin old, I know this folks but you still got to admit, the brotha has always laid it down..
But what killed me was my mom actually said "You know, Prince is fine." I was like, what?? What happened to he looked like a little girl and callin' him Princess. My mom said that she has really developed a true respect for the man and i said good..I told you he was fonky.

It just goes to show you what effect Prince's music and self can have on people. Next thing i know, My mom's goin' start callin him "Sexy"..That would really be kinda freaky.. ..
she know dat's mine.. kiddin' folks..it's his wife's.. *sigh*

What made your mother go to the concert? Did you ask her to go, or did she request to tag along?

She had been hearing about the Musicology Tour all week on the radio and on the internet, also from friends and from watching Ellen and she decided since she knew how much i adored Prince, that she would get me a ticket but some how i finally got her to get a ticket for herself after getting on my knees and begging so she said what the heck..

(We got our tickets from the internet and got ripped off. If we would have gotten them from the ticket master in Cincinati, We could have got them for $75.00 which ain't a bad price at all but instead, we paid $150.00 a piece including a $15.00 shipping fee, so it came to about $300.00..My mom was so pissed when she found out..so was i..but hey what can i say.. At least i got to share the experience with my best friend in da whole wide world, my mommy!!)

Ya'll know she must really love me to pay $300.00 to see Prince..Because i know i sho' wouldn't if i was a mom and my kid wanted to go..nah, I'm kiddin' ya'll...
