I Just Got Lovesexy, How Do I Split the Tracks??

This CD is one continuous track, how do I make it the nine tracks or whatever? I have Roxio, Nero, Roxio's Audiocentral and Winamp on my computer. Help please, thanks.

U need an editor to split the tracks. I use Cool Edit pro but there are lots of shareware tools around to do this.

I used soundforce ....

just make a selection of the last song (positivity) ..... copy / paste as a new file
save the new file as "track-09"
Go back to the original track, and delete the selection.

make a selection of the last song (I wish u heaven) ..... copy / paste as a new file
save the new file as "track-08"
Go back to the original track, and delete the selection.

and so on .....

Than you can use your burning-software to put it on cd.

There are also some programs to remaster your vinyl / tapes, where you can split the album by some simple mouseclicks

I managed it with a stanley knife and a steady arm, but it took a good hour or more.

Yeah... I always read people complaining about the fact that the CD is only available as a one track disc, but I've never known this. All the CDs ive seen of it are fully tracked ( complete with shit sound quality).

I used an iomega programme but I'm pretty sure that roxio audio center will do it - you just need to add t marks at the right bits (of course you'll have to decide which those bits are.

Really?? How recently did you buy it? Being a bit of a collector, I now feel the need to buy a tracked copy to go alongside my original untracked version.

Oh, and to return to the original topic, I did mine on Roxio (or whatever it used to be called) years ago. I was really pleased that I was able to do it with no gaps, not even a microsecond between segued songs.

I'll make you a copy and flog it to you for the cost of materials only (i.e. 50p plus postage within in the UK).

A european version was released tracked. Just got one from ebay but with postage and that cost just under £ 20. Don't mind though. Worth it!
