i'd rather see an official re-release of the detroit gig and syracuse then UTCM. A movie that was rightfully slaughtered by critics. if it contained real live stuff of the songs on parade, it would have made more of a worthwile release. I just don't see why people give a shit what the critics thought about UTCM. It's a FUN movie that he made not to go down in history with Gone With the Wind, just for fun. I fucking laugh through a lot of the scenes and I just don't see how any fan don't like to watch Prince have some fun and show his humor a bit.

I like the lyrics too!! my little sister knew how much i liked Prince music and one day she came home with a present for me and it was a Prince record she'd gotten at a garage sale for 50 cents. She was so incredibly happy to give it me since she knew it was what I would like- BUT that happened back in 2001. And it was in record LP format and we are both sad and thinking how we can't play it!!!! but we played it on our mom's old record player a few times before the player broke. 
but anyway we totaly jammed to Mountains!! it is a great song!! I really like spicy food. I mostly put Jalapenos on a lot of my food.

Mountains is an excellent song. And I too would rather see the Syracuse 85 concert on DVD. My feeling is...don't even release the Purple Rain DVD unless you're gonna put extra goodies on there...I mean really. I will do today what you won't, so tomorrow I can do what you can't. | |
