Today, April 17th, I saw a commercial on MTV advertising the release of "Musicology". It pretty much just showed pieces of the video with the announcer saying stuff like..."Musicology....the latest release from Prince" and then "Get it Tuesday April 2oth at Tower Records"...so apparently the commercial was for Musicology AND Tower Records?

Anyway, as the commercial is ending, it shows the cd case from an open state(where you can see some of the liner notes), to a closed state,kind of a tri-fold thing, with double fold flaps that come from the sides to close over the front...the two halfs make up the Cd cover that we now have all come to know.

I know there is a post on here showing scans of the cd case but the pictures wouldn't open on it for me tonight for that post.

I'll be watching MTV just to catch that commercial!!

Hope it played early in the AM for all the over 40 target audience who would buy it.....

I saw a commercial for the album yesterday in the u.k...heard the title track then cinnamon girl played in the background.
